Perfect Crepes and Pancakes. Every Time. The Nonstick Flat-Bottom Pan.
Thin, even crepes and pancake skins require a pan that heats uniformly across its entire flat surface — no hot spots, no thick edges, and a nonstick release that lets the batter spread freely and lift cleanly. The Nonstick Flat-Bottom Crepe & Pancake Pan is built specifically for this task: an aluminum alloy body with a compound base for consistent heat distribution, and a nonstick surface that releases delicate crepes without tearing.
Key Features
- Aluminum alloy construction — lightweight and excellent heat conductor; heats quickly and evenly across the flat cooking surface
- Compound base — multi-layer base enhances heat distribution and stability on all hob types
- Nonstick surface — crepes and thin pancake skins release cleanly without tearing or sticking
- Flat-bottom design — maximises the cooking surface area for thin, even batters that spread to the edges
- All hob compatible — works on gas, electric, ceramic, induction, and halogen hobs
- Available in multiple sizes — select the size that suits your batch quantity and serving needs
Best Used For
- French crêpes — thin, even, lacy-edged crêpes for sweet and savoury fillings
- Chinese pancake skins and spring roll wrappers
- Korean or Japanese thin egg crepes and omelette wraps
- Breakfast pancakes where consistent, even browning matters
- Injera, dosa, and other flatbread preparations
How to Use
- Preheat the pan on low to medium heat — aluminum heats quickly; high heat is rarely necessary
- Add a small amount of butter or oil and swirl to coat the surface lightly
- Pour batter into the centre and tilt the pan to spread it evenly to the edges
- Cook until the edges lift and the surface is set, then flip with a thin spatula for a few seconds on the second side
Care Instructions
- Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge — preserves the nonstick coating
- Avoid metal utensils and abrasive scourers
- Allow to cool before washing to prevent warping
- Use silicone, wooden, or nylon tools during cooking
